Entity-Adjusted Spent Volume Aged 1m–3m measures daily BTC transferred between identified entities from coins last active one to three months earlier. It excludes recognized within-entity transfers and expresses the remaining age-specific flow in BTC per day.
Expansion indicates more movement of month-old coins across entity boundaries, while contraction indicates less activity attributed to that age window. The series reached about 131,623 BTC on March 13, 2020; its 2024 maximum was about 72,148 BTC on March 6. These bursts show how transfers from recent holdings can become concentrated on particular days.
Entity estimates reduce internal-wallet noise but do not identify executed trades, beneficial owners or the purpose of a transfer. The adjusted series is not always below the raw 1m–3m series in the chart data, so subtracting the two does not yield a reliable estimate of internal churn in that age band. Both series remain measures of movement, not net demand.
Not in this chart history: on October 17, 2026 the adjusted value is about 2,760 BTC versus about 1,578 BTC unadjusted. Their difference alone therefore cannot be read as the volume of internal transfers removed from this age band.
The 1m–3m band isolates coins with a longer interval since their previous activity, while 1d–1w focuses on days-old circulation. They are separate age windows and should not be interpreted as consecutive moving averages.
No. Entity adjustment changes which transfers qualify, not the unit or the question measured. This series adds BTC volume; Entity-Adjusted SOPR instead compares spending value with acquisition value.
