Tietoa tästä mittarista

Mitä se mittaa

Spent Outputs Aged Under 1h measures how many transaction outputs are consumed less than one hour after their creation each day. It counts outputs rather than transactions or BTC, isolating the fastest layer of on-chain reuse.

Näin luet sitä

A rising count shows more rapid spending chains, which can reflect automated transfers, change reuse or service-wallet activity; a falling count shows less immediate reuse. On October 5, 2026, the count reached a record 882,544, compared with a full-history median of 171,564.

Fast reuse is not evidence of new investors or fresh demand, and repeated movements of the same funds can generate many distinct outputs. This unadjusted series includes internal wallet activity; compare the BTC value moved and longer-lived output bands to judge whether the increase extends beyond rapid transaction chains.

Can the same BTC contribute more than once in a day?

Yes. Spending creates new outputs, which can themselves be spent again within an hour. Each qualifying output is counted once, but the underlying funds can pass through several counted outputs.

Why do adjusted profit metrics often exclude very short-lived outputs?

Coins moved again within an hour usually have little change in acquisition and spending price. Removing such outputs reduces rapid-transfer noise in profit ratios; this count deliberately keeps that activity visible.

Are under-one-hour outputs the same as unconfirmed transactions?

No. Output age measures the interval between creation and spending in the on-chain record. It is not a measure of how long a transaction waited in the mempool.
