Luna Foundation Guard Reserves adds the BTC balances in tracked addresses attributed to LFG. It measures the bitcoin portion of the observed reserve in BTC, not all reserve assets or any guarantee of their availability.
The historical change in scale is central to this chart: the balance reached about 80,395 BTC on May 5, 2022, then recorded zero on May 10. During 2023 and 2024 the recorded balance stayed near 313 BTC, far below the earlier peak, so small later changes should be assessed in absolute BTC as well as by percentile.
A transfer out of the tracked wallets shows a change in custody location, not the price or purpose of a disposal. A zero reading is confined to this address set and does not prove that every asset was exhausted. Long stretches near the same residual balance can make tiny changes look unusually high in historical rankings.
The series went from its roughly 80,395 BTC peak on May 5 to zero on May 10. These balances document the drawdown in the tracked wallets but do not show how each transfer was used.
The recorded balance in both 2023 and 2024 stayed near 313 BTC, compared with a peak above 80,000 BTC. The chart therefore contains a large early reserve followed by a much smaller residual balance.
Not necessarily. Many observations cluster around 313 BTC, so a marginally higher balance can outrank most days while remaining far below the peak. Always compare the absolute coin amounts.
