Long-Term Holder Supply in Profit is the BTC quantity in the roughly 155-day-and-older cohort whose last-move price is below the current BTC price. It counts profitable coins, not their unrealized dollar gains or the number of profitable holders.
Higher readings mean more aged coins are above their recorded cost, while declines mean fewer older coins qualify as profitable. The series reached about 14.56 million BTC on July 7, 2025. Expansion can reflect recovering prices or profitable coins aging into the cohort; contraction can reflect price losses or movement of profitable old coins.
A large profitable balance does not show how close those coins are to being spent, and deeply profitable lost coins can remain included. Compare with LTH Supply and LTH Supply in Loss to separate profitability from cohort size. Last-move prices are cost proxies, not verified purchase prices.
Yes. Profitable older coins can move and leave the long-term cohort faster than other coins mature into it, reducing the balance during a price advance.
It means many BTC have cost below price, but it does not measure the gap. LTH-MVRV adds information about average market value relative to cost.
The recorded high through October 17, 2026 was about 14.56 million BTC on July 7, 2025. That is a quantity of coins, not a percentage of long-term supply.
