Om detta mått

Vad det mäter

UTXO Realized Price Distribution (Percent-Partitioned) assigns each unspent transaction output's BTC amount to a USD price band based on its price when created. Bands are defined relative to the snapshot's BTC price; bar lengths measure BTC supply, not percentages.

Så läser du det

Read long bars as concentrations of supply with similar last-move costs. Bands below the snapshot price represent unrealized profit; those above it represent unrealized loss and potential breakeven pressure. In the October 17, 2026 snapshot, about 1.07 million BTC sat in the $83,058–$84,687 band, above that snapshot's price of about $81,429.

A cost cluster is not an order book or a guaranteed support or resistance level. Transfers between a holder's own wallets reset output costs, and lost or dormant early coins can dominate the lowest band. Dollar boundaries move with the reference price, so compare price ranges rather than matching bar positions across days; the page currently shows daily snapshots for roughly the last three months.

Vanliga frågor

What does percent-partitioned mean in Bitcoin URPD?

The percentages set price-band spacing, not the proportion of supply in each bar. In the October 17, 2026 snapshot, adjacent price levels are 2% of its BTC price apart, or about $1,629; the supplied levels run from zero to twice that price.

How does UTXO-based URPD differ from Entity-Adjusted URPD?

UTXO-based URPD uses the price when each still-unspent output was created, so self-transfers can update its cost. Entity-Adjusted URPD groups addresses attributed to the same holder and uses the entity's average cost, reducing the impact of internal transfers.

Does a large URPD bar above the BTC price guarantee resistance?

No. It identifies supply whose recorded cost is above the snapshot price, not orders waiting to be executed. Some holders may respond near breakeven, but the distribution cannot establish their intentions or how price will behave.
