Om detta mått

Vad det mäter

Spent Output Price Distribution (Percent-Partitioned) groups the BTC spent each day by prior output-creation price, using cost bands spaced at 2% of that snapshot's current BTC price. The price axis is relative to spot, while bar lengths are absolute BTC amounts.

Så läser du det

Concentration below the snapshot price indicates lower-cost coins being spent, while above-price bars locate higher-cost spending; bars close to spot emphasize narrow P/L margins. On October 17, 2026, about 407,850 BTC fell in the $81,429–$83,058 band, roughly 61.2% of the day's mapped volume.

Because spot anchors the grid, price changes move the dollar boundaries even without a new ATH. This can shift volume between bars mechanically; self-transfers remain included, and a large nearby bar does not measure actual exchange liquidity or prove concentrated selling.

Vanliga frågor

Does percent-partitioned mean the bars show percentages?

No. Percentages determine the price-band spacing; bar values are BTC. To calculate a volume share, divide a bar's BTC amount by the total mapped spent volume for that day.

Why choose percent-partitioned SOPD rather than ATH-partitioned SOPD?

Spot-relative bands make distance from the current price easier to compare between snapshots. ATH-based bands use the historical peak as their anchor, so the same spent volume can form different-sized clusters under the two grids.

Can I compare the same bar across different dates?

Only after checking its price boundaries. The grid moves with spot, so the same position on the chart can represent different dollar costs on different days.
