ما الذي يقيسه

Entity-Adjusted Coin Years Destroyed sums 365 days of entity-adjusted CDD, excluding identified same-entity transfers from the spending stream. The result is in BTC-days, not BTC-years, and measures a rolling year of age expenditure under entity-based accounting.

كيفية قراءته

An expanding total shows more age expenditure entering than leaving the annual window; a contracting total shows less. Its historical peak was about 7.24 billion BTC-days on February 16, 2018, while the 2022 minimum was about 3.93 billion, giving a long-window view of changing holder activity.

Entity filtering reduces recognized reshuffle noise but cannot establish whether external transfers were sales, and inferred ownership can be revised. The year-long window delays changes, while an expanding supply still affects the baseline because this version has no supply normalization.

الأسئلة الشائعة

Why can Entity-Adjusted CYD be higher than ordinary CYD?

Entity-based age accounting can preserve age through internal transfers that reset raw output age. Later external transfers can therefore carry more age, so an annual adjusted total need not be a smaller subset of the raw total.

Is Entity-Adjusted CYD adjusted for circulating supply?

No. This version filters internal transfers but remains an absolute BTC-days total. The entity- and supply-adjusted version additionally normalizes the age expenditure for supply.

What is the advantage over daily Entity-Adjusted CDD?

It shows the accumulated scale of activity over a full year rather than one day's spike. That context comes with a delay: a transfer can remain in the curve for 365 days.
