حول هذا المقياس

ما الذي يقيسه

Supply Held by Addresses with < 0.001 BTC sums the BTC remaining at addresses with positive balances below 0.001 BTC. It is measured in BTC, so the chart shows the aggregate size of these tiny balances rather than how many addresses contain them.

كيفية قراءته

A rising total means more coins are distributed among very small balances, potentially reflecting residual change, small receipts or fragmented wallet use. The series held about 2,919 BTC at the May 2020 halving and recorded about 5,854 BTC on October 17, 2026. Despite many possible contributing addresses, the combined coin amount remains much smaller than in larger balance bands.

Not every balance below 0.001 BTC is unusable dust. Spending cost depends on individual outputs, transaction structure and prevailing fees, while a single address may contain multiple outputs. Growth in this band therefore cannot directly measure lost coins, new users or spending capacity.

الأسئلة الشائعة

Is every address below 0.001 BTC unspendable dust?

No. The band is an analytical balance cutoff, not a universal spending rule. Whether spending is economical depends on the fee rate and the outputs that must be included.

Why can this band contain many addresses but relatively little BTC?

Each qualifying address contributes less than one thousandth of a coin. Address counts can grow quickly while their combined balances add only a small amount of BTC.

Do small balances prove that coins are lost?

No. An owner may leave change untouched or wait for lower fees before consolidating. A small positive balance does not reveal whether the corresponding keys are still available.
