حول هذا المقياس

ما الذي يقيسه

Accumulation Address Balance adds together the BTC balances of addresses classified in the accumulation cohort. The unit is BTC, so the series measures the size of that cohort's holdings rather than its number of addresses.

كيفية قراءته

An increase means the tracked accumulation cohort holds more BTC; a decrease means it holds less, whether through balance changes or addresses entering and leaving the classification. Holdings peaked at about 3.00 million BTC on August 19, 2015, and stood near 2.01 million BTC on October 17, 2026. Accumulation-address holdings therefore have not simply risen with Bitcoin's price or total supply.

Cohort membership matters: a classification change can add or remove an address's entire balance, so the daily difference is not a measure of net market purchases. Address-level holdings also cannot reveal who controls the funds. Compare with Accumulation Addresses to distinguish a change in total BTC from a change in the breadth of the cohort.

الأسئلة الشائعة

How is Accumulation Address Balance calculated?

It sums the BTC held by addresses included in the accumulation classification on each date. It does not add together the dollar amounts of transactions or measure money flowing into exchanges.

Can accumulation-address count rise while its BTC balance falls?

Yes. More qualifying addresses can hold a smaller combined balance if new members are small or larger balances leave the cohort. Count and balance should be read together.

Does a fall in accumulation balance prove holders sold BTC?

No. Transfers, wallet restructuring and changes in classification can reduce the tracked balance without a market sale. The series measures a cohort's stock of BTC, not executed trades.
