حول هذا المقياس

ما الذي يقيسه

Address Activity Retention Rate expresses retained address activity as a share of the measured address population, displayed as a percentage. It focuses on continued transaction participation rather than whether an address merely keeps a BTC balance.

كيفية قراءته

Higher readings mean repeat activity accounts for a larger share of the measured population; lower readings indicate less continuity. The full-history median is about 13.83%, and the record was about 25.06% on February 9, 2018. The October 17, 2026 reading of about 14.86% was above that median but below the 16.25% recorded a year earlier, illustrating why both level and direction matter.

Retention is sensitive to address reuse, wallet software and services rotating deposit or change addresses. A user who keeps transacting through fresh addresses may appear poorly retained. Do not read the percentage as the share of all Bitcoin users still active, or as evidence that low activity means holders disposed of their coins.

الأسئلة الشائعة

Does an activity retention rate of 0.14864 mean 0.14864%?

No. The stored series is a fraction and the page converts it to a percentage, so 0.14864 is 14.864%, or about 14.86%.

Why can active-address count rise while activity retention falls?

A burst of newly used or returning addresses can expand activity without a matching increase in repeat participants. The count describes activity's size, while retention describes its continuity.

Is activity retention the same as holder retention?

No. Holder retention concerns keeping a funded address, whereas activity retention concerns continued transaction participation. An address can stay funded for years without repeatedly transacting.
