Share of Transfer Volume in Profit divides the BTC volume classified as moving at a profit by the total transfer volume covered by that calculation. A transfer is in profit when its spending price is above its previous on-chain cost reference; the result is displayed as a percentage.

A higher percentage means more of the measured volume is moving above its cost reference, while a lower percentage means profitable transfers account for less of that activity. This measures the composition of moving coins, not the profitability of all circulating supply or the size of dollar gains. Transfers at breakeven and differences in volume filtering matter; do not reconstruct the ratio using a raw total-volume series unless its coverage matches.

How is profitable transfer share different from supply in profit?
Transfer share looks only at BTC moving during the measurement period. Supply in profit looks at coins still held across the circulating supply, whether or not they move that day.
Why does a raw value of 0.33405 appear as 33.41%?
The stored series is a fraction. The chart multiplies it by 100 to display percent, so 0.33405 corresponds to 33.405% before rounding.
Does a 60% profitable volume share mean a 60% return?
No. It means 60% of the BTC volume within that calculation met the profit condition. It does not measure how much those coins gained or the return earned by an investor.
