Om detta mått

Vad det mäter

SOPR by Wallet Size reports the USD spending value of coins divided by their previous last-move cost within each address-balance group. It is a unitless ratio for the coins spent that day, from <0.001 BTC to >100K BTC, with Overall aggregating the full set.

Så läser du det

A group above 1 is transferring coins at an aggregate gain, and below 1 at an aggregate loss. Divergence across balance groups can reveal mixed spending conditions behind Overall: on October 17, 2026, 100–1K BTC was about 1.054 while 1K–10K BTC was about 0.998. Gains in one group can coexist with losses in another at the same price.

The ratio does not measure how many BTC moved or the total dollars gained. Address balance is not the same as investor wealth, and custodial or internal transfers can distort the comparison. Some large-address groups spend intermittently, so check observation dates rather than assuming every group's last value belongs to the latest day.

Vanliga frågor

What does a wallet group's SOPR of 1 mean?

Its spent coins had equal aggregate spending value and original cost. Individual transfers can still contain both gains and losses that offset; it does not mean every coin moved exactly at breakeven.

Why might the >100K BTC series have an older last date?

That group can have days without qualifying spending or a valid ratio. In the supplied snapshot its latest observation is October 6, 2026, while Overall extends to October 17, so the two last values are not same-day observations.

Can a high wallet-group SOPR imply a large realized-profit amount?

Not by itself. SOPR is a ratio, so a small transfer with a low cost basis can produce a high value. Realized Profit by Wallet Size shows the separate USD gain amount.
