Om detta mått

Vad det mäter

Supply Held by Addresses with 0.001–0.01 BTC adds the BTC balances of addresses in that balance band on each date. The unit is BTC: the limits classify each address, while the plotted value is the combined coin amount across qualifying addresses.

Så läser du det

An increase means more BTC is located in this small-balance band; a decrease means less is held there after transfers and reclassification. The total rose from about 30,450 BTC at the May 2020 halving to 43,861 BTC at the April 2024 halving, and reached 45,055 BTC on July 30, 2026. These balances describe a specific layer of the address distribution.

Small change and fragmented wallets contribute alongside intentional small holdings. If an address crosses either band limit, its full remaining balance changes groups, so a rise or fall cannot be treated as the net purchases or sales of a stable set of small investors.

Vanliga frågor

Why can this chart show 45,000 BTC in such a small-balance band?

The limits apply to individual address balances. The chart adds all qualifying addresses, so their aggregate can be tens of thousands of BTC.

How does this band differ from balances below 0.001 BTC?

It covers a larger individual balance range. Both groups can contain change and small savings, but a transfer that moves an address across 0.001 BTC also moves its remaining balance between the two groups.

Does price appreciation move an address out of this band?

Not by itself. Band membership uses BTC balances, so it changes when the coin balance changes, not when the dollar value rises.
