Long-Term Holder Exchange Inflow Volume is the daily BTC amount sent from the long-term holding cohort to identified exchange addresses, combining profitable and loss-making deposits. The cohort boundary is around 155 days of holding time, and the reading is an incoming flow in BTC.
Jak to číst
A higher total means more older holdings are entering venues where trading can occur, but the deposit mix matters. On July 19, 2022, total inflows reached about 30,619 BTC and the loss component was about 30,531 BTC. By contrast, the record total on July 17, 2021, was almost entirely profitable deposits. A similar total can therefore describe very different holder conditions.
This measures neither all deposits nor net exchange flow: it covers one holding cohort and does not subtract withdrawals. Transfers for collateral or custody are possible, and exchange labels and age classification can change. Read the components and broader exchange flows before attributing selling intent.

No. They only cover deposits attributed to the long-term holding cohort. Recent-holder deposits and any other flows outside that classification are not the same series.
Can the profit and loss inflows be summed to the total?
They are the profitability components of LTH inflows. On October 17, 2026, 442.1 BTC in profit plus 77.046 BTC in loss rounds to the displayed total of 519.1 BTC.
Does a large LTH inflow mean exchange reserves must rise?
No. Other cohorts can withdraw BTC at the same time. The change in overall reserves depends on total inflows and outflows across the tracked exchanges.
