Spent Outputs Aged 3m–6m totals the outputs consumed each day whose lifespans fall between three and six months. It measures output-level activity around a holding interval that spans the usual boundary between short-term and long-term holders, in outputs per day.

Higher readings mean more quarter-old outputs are being spent; declining readings mean fewer are moving out of that age window. The record of 363,485 on October 8, 2023 compares with a full-history median of 8,745, illustrating how a brief burst can dominate the scale.
This band straddles the roughly 155-day holder boundary, so it cannot be assigned entirely to short-term or long-term holders. Unadjusted self-transfers and consolidations may drive peaks, and raw output counts do not show the amount, gain or destination of the BTC involved.
