O tym wskaźniku

Co mierzy

Market Cap by Wallet Size groups holdings into BTC balance bands and multiplies each group's coin quantity by current BTC price. It shows USD market value from <0.001 BTC to >100K BTC, with Total as the combined market capitalization.

Jak to czytać

Larger bands represent more current market value in that balance category. On October 17, 2026, 100–1K BTC accounted for about $429.01 billion, compared with about $56.74 billion in >100K BTC. Track each band's share of Total to distinguish changes in supply concentration from a general rise or fall in BTC price.

Every group is repriced by the same BTC price, so dollar growth alone is not evidence of accumulation. Balances crossing boundaries and custody wallet reorganizations can shift value between groups. The address-grouping method is not stated, and large pooled wallets do not identify the wealth or actions of individual owners.

FAQ

Does a larger wallet-size band's market cap mean more BTC was acquired?

Not necessarily. An unchanged BTC balance rises in dollar value when price increases. Its share of Total removes that common price effect, though transfers between size bands still matter.

How is this different from Realized Cap by Wallet Size?

Market cap uses current price for all coins, while realized cap uses their recorded last-move costs. Their difference reflects paper gains or losses under matching group definitions, not new cash deposits.

Can this chart show how many people own more than 1,000 BTC?

No. It shows value assigned to balance bands, not a count of beneficial owners. Custodians can pool many users' coins, and one owner can distribute holdings across several wallets.
