Cosa misura

Supply Held by Addresses with 0.01–0.1 BTC measures the combined BTC balance of addresses assigned to that coin-balance interval each day. It sums holdings rather than counting addresses, and eligibility depends on the address balance, not an individual transaction size.

Come leggerlo

Watch whether this fractional-BTC layer gains coins alongside, or diverges from, adjacent balance groups. Its total ranged from about 196,119 BTC to 243,412 BTC during 2022, then reached about 283,499 BTC on July 30, 2026. Growth means more coins sit within the band, not necessarily that every member has accumulated.

An address that grows beyond 0.1 BTC leaves the group with its whole balance, while a larger address spending down into the interval enters it. Change outputs and address splitting also matter, so the series cannot by itself isolate small-holder demand or measure people.

FAQ

Is this the number of addresses holding at least 0.01 BTC?

No. That address count includes all balances above the minimum with no upper limit. This metric sums BTC only in the 0.01–0.1 BTC balance band.

Can successful accumulation make this group lose BTC?

Yes. If an address adds enough coins to move above 0.1 BTC, its entire balance is reassigned to a larger group. A shrinking band can therefore coexist with growth in some members' holdings.

Does a 0.05 BTC transfer always add 0.05 BTC to this series?

No. The recipient's resulting total balance determines its group. If the transfer pushes that address outside the interval, its full balance is classified elsewhere.
