A mutatóról

Mit mér

Entity-Adjusted Spent Volume Aged 1y–2y measures the daily BTC amount transferred after remaining unspent for one to two years. Recognized transfers within a single entity are removed before the volume for this age band is reported.

Hogyan értelmezzük

Higher volume means more one-to-two-year holdings are being released into circulation, while quiet readings mean fewer coins from that age range are moving. A record near 108,072 BTC appeared on December 28, 2020; the band's 2022 high was about 36,554 BTC on July 19, illustrating how uneven this flow can be.

A coin enters this band simply by aging and leaves either by being spent or by becoming older than two years. Changes therefore reflect both the available stock and holders' activity; entity estimates and non-sale transfers prevent a volume spike from identifying a market top.

GYIK

Does low 1y–2y spent volume mean this supply is shrinking?

No. Spent volume measures coins moving out, whereas the stock of coins aged one to two years can rise as younger coins mature. Use the corresponding supply-age distribution to assess the stock.

Why can one-to-two-year coins move without profit-taking?

The age band contains no acquisition-price test. Coins may be moved at a profit or loss, for custody changes or other transfers, so realized profit and loss measures are needed to assess the economic result.

Were one-to-two-year coins available throughout the chart?

No. The daily record starts in 2009, but coins first had to age for a year before they could enter this band. Initial zeros are structural rather than evidence of unusually strong holding.
