A mutatóról

Mit mér

Addresses with Balance ≥ 100 BTC counts distinct Bitcoin addresses holding at least 100 BTC on each date. It includes all larger balances, with each qualifying address counted once; the unit is addresses, not BTC.

Hogyan értelmezzük

An expanding count means more addresses hold at least 100 BTC, while a decline means fewer meet this fixed coin threshold. The series reached 20,429 on October 14, 2026, and was 20,407 three days later, compared with 15,965 at the April 2024 halving. That increase shows a wider base of addresses above the threshold, without establishing whether their combined BTC balance grew.

A BTC price move alone cannot move an unchanged balance across this threshold. Wallet splitting and consolidation can, however, change the count without changing ownership; custodial addresses can hold coins for many clients. Compare with supply by address balance to assess how much BTC the cohort controls.

GYIK

Does this count only addresses holding between 100 and 1,000 BTC?

No. It is cumulative above the 100 BTC threshold, so addresses with 1,000 BTC, 10,000 BTC or more are included. The supply-distribution chart uses separate balance bands instead.

How many Bitcoin addresses have held at least 100 BTC?

The recorded high is 20,429 on October 14, 2026. The October 17, 2026 reading was 20,407; these are addresses rather than individual owners.

Can splitting a wallet increase the 100 BTC address count?

Yes. Splitting a large balance into several addresses that each retain at least 100 BTC raises the count without creating new owners or new BTC.
