حول هذا المقياس

ما الذي يقيسه

Miner Incoming Transfer Count counts daily on-chain BTC receipts recorded at addresses identified with miners, in transfers. It tracks incoming events rather than BTC revenue, newly issued supply or the number of mining businesses.

كيفية قراءته

A higher reading indicates more incoming activity at the tracked miner addresses, which can involve mining-related receipts and other wallet transfers. The count reached 92,167 on July 5, 2011, compared with a 2024 yearly maximum of 1,526, demonstrating how strongly incoming patterns differ between eras.

Do not read an increase as miners acquiring BTC in the market. Reward handling, transfers between wallets and address attribution can alter the count; the genesis-day reading also shows that this is not simply a count of purchases. Revenue requires the BTC amounts and, for dollar comparisons, the relevant price.

الأسئلة الشائعة

Does miner incoming transfer count measure mining revenue?

No. It counts incoming events without weighting them by amount. Miner revenue is a value measure based on the subsidy and transaction fees earned.

Does every incoming transfer mean a miner bought Bitcoin?

No. Mining-related receipts and wallet operations also produce incoming activity. A transfer into a miner-labeled address does not establish a market purchase.

Why compare incoming and outgoing counts with care?

The two sides can follow different operational patterns: one receipt can fund many payouts. Subtracting counts does not calculate a BTC balance change; that requires incoming and outgoing amounts.
