The band reflects output age, so a sequence of wallet moves can reset age without a change of owner. How is this different from the 1d–1w HODL Wave?
The HODL Wave measures the share of unspent supply currently in that age range. Spent volume counts only the BTC from that range that actually moved during the day.
Does the 1d–1w series exclude transfers within one owner's wallets?
This unadjusted series does not filter by identified owner. The separate Entity-Adjusted Spent Volume Aged 1d–1w series removes recognized transfers within the same entity.
