O tejto metrike
Čo meria
Total Miner Revenue is the daily sum of newly issued block subsidies and transaction fees earned by Bitcoin miners, measured in BTC. It is gross protocol revenue before electricity, equipment, financing and other operating costs.
Ako to čítať
Subsidy halvings lower the baseline, while more blocks or higher fees lift daily receipts. On April 20, 2024, total revenue was about 1,667 BTC despite subsidy revenue of only about 409 BTC, showing that fees can temporarily outweigh the issuance cut.
BTC income and dollar income can move in opposite directions when the BTC price changes. A low rank against the full history partly reflects the programmed subsidy decline; it does not by itself establish miner distress, and total network income says little about the economics of an individual machine.

Časté otázky
What is included in Bitcoin miner revenue?
The new coins issued through block subsidies and the fees paid by transactions included in blocks. This measure excludes operating costs and is not miner profit.
Why can miner revenue rise on a halving day?
Transaction fees and block production vary independently of the subsidy cut. On April 20, 2024, fees lifted total daily receipts to about 1,667 BTC while the subsidy component was around 409 BTC.
Is this miner revenue chart measured in dollars?
No, the series is in BTC per day. Dollar income also depends on the BTC price; Thermocap is a separate cumulative USD measure.
