Fewer transfers indicate quieter incoming activity within that coverage. The recorded high was 257 on November 9, 2021, while the yearly maximum in 2024 was 97, giving a historical reference for changes in funding frequency.
An incoming transfer does not reveal whether a client sold BTC or whether a desk simply moved inventory. Desk labels cover only recognized wallets, and net settlement can hide many deals behind a small number of transfers. Pair count with incoming BTC volume and outgoing activity.
