Total Miner Revenue is the daily sum of newly issued block subsidies and transaction fees earned by Bitcoin miners, measured in BTC. It is gross protocol revenue before electricity, equipment, financing and other operating costs.

Subsidy halvings lower the baseline, while more blocks or higher fees lift daily receipts. On April 20, 2024, total revenue was about 1,667 BTC despite subsidy revenue of only about 409 BTC, showing that fees can temporarily outweigh the issuance cut.
BTC income and dollar income can move in opposite directions when the BTC price changes. A low rank against the full history partly reflects the programmed subsidy decline; it does not by itself establish miner distress, and total network income says little about the economics of an individual machine.
