Τι μετρά

Realized Price by Profit/Loss Status separates unspent coins by their percentage return from last-move cost, then divides each group's realized cost by its BTC supply. The result is an average cost in USD per BTC for each profit or loss band, alongside Overall.

Πώς διαβάζεται

Loss bands carry average costs above the reference price, while profit bands carry costs below it. The wider the gap, the further those coins are from breakeven. On October 17, 2026, -23.6% to -10% averaged about $98,214, versus $75,176 for 0% to 20%, illustrating the different cost levels hidden inside one network average.

Price changes continually reassign coins between bands, so these lines do not track fixed holders or fixed support levels. A high cost line says nothing about how much supply sits there. Sparse bands can disappear; last-move cost is also only a proxy for acquisition cost because internal wallet transfers can reset it.

Συχνές ερωτήσεις

Are these fixed realized-price support bands?

No. The groups are defined by current percentage profit or loss, so their membership and average costs change with price. They are not fixed offsets around the overall Realized Price.

How does this chart differ from a realized-price distribution?

A price distribution shows the quantity of coins in each cost interval. This chart shows one average cost for each percentage-return group and does not reveal the amount of supply at that cost.

Does a missing deep-loss cost line mean a zero cost?

No. It means there is no valid observation for that date, not a cost of zero. For example, the <-78.6% band's last recorded value is dated April 1, 2019.
