حول هذا المقياس

ما الذي يقيسه

Adjusted Supply subtracts an estimate of lost coins from Bitcoin’s circulating supply and reports the remaining amount in BTC. The result is a model of potentially accessible supply, not a direct count of coins with usable private keys.

كيفية قراءته

A rising value means issuance and changes in the loss estimate leave more supply in the adjusted total; a falling value means the estimated exclusion grows faster than issuance. The series peaked near 15.64 million BTC on May 28, 2024 and stood near 14.84 million on October 17, 2026, demonstrating that adjusted supply can fall even as mining adds coins.

Long inactivity alone does not prove permanent loss. The estimate can exclude accessible cold storage or miss recently lost keys, and assumptions about dormant coins shape the result. It is not exchange inventory, liquid supply or a change to Bitcoin’s protocol supply limit.

الأسئلة الشائعة

How can adjusted supply fall while circulating supply grows?

New issuance adds to circulating supply, but the estimated lost portion can grow by more. Subtracting a larger exclusion then leaves a smaller adjusted balance.

Can the blockchain prove how many bitcoin are lost?

It can show unspent outputs and some explicitly unspendable outputs, but it usually cannot reveal whether an owner still has a private key. The broader loss figure therefore relies on estimation.

Does adjusted supply show the BTC immediately available to trade?

No. Coins remaining after the adjustment may still be held for years or locked in custody arrangements. Liquidity measures and exchange reserves address different aspects of availability.
