Gildan Activewear, Inc. (GIL) is a vertically integrated apparel designer and manufacturer producing T-shirts, underwear, socks and hosiery. It sells blank apparel to wholesalers, brands and printers and branded products through retail and direct-to-consumer channels under names including Gildan, American Apparel, Comfort Colors, Hanes, Bali, Maidenform, Playtex and Goldtoe. Production is concentrated in Latin America with additional capacity in Bangladesh, and the United States generated 90% of sales in 2025.
