Om detta mått

Vad det mäter

Miner Block Reward Revenue sums the newly issued BTC awarded through block subsidies each day, excluding transaction fees. Within a fixed subsidy era, it equals the number of blocks mined times that era’s subsidy; a halving day can include both subsidy rates.

Så läser du det

The staircase across halving eras reflects declining issuance, while daily variation mainly reflects block production. At the 3.125 BTC subsidy introduced in 2024, 144 blocks correspond to about 450 BTC of daily issuance, rather than a fixed guaranteed amount.

This is the issuance component of income, not the full reward including fees or dollar purchasing power. Comparing its raw historical percentile across subsidy eras mostly measures the issuance schedule, and a low daily value can result from slow block discovery rather than weak transaction demand.

Vanliga frågor

Does block reward revenue include transaction fees here?

No. This series uses block reward to mean the newly issued subsidy only. Total Miner Revenue adds transaction fees to that subsidy.

Why does daily issuance vary between halvings?

The subsidy per block stays fixed within an era, but block discovery is random and the number mined each day varies. Halving days can also contain blocks from both the old and new subsidy eras.

How does the subsidy differ from the Puell Multiple?

This chart shows the raw BTC issued each day. The Puell Multiple values issuance in USD and divides it by its 365-day average, expressing revenue relative to a yearly baseline.
